Tricks and Treats

Welcome, my pretties. The official countdown to October 31st has begun. Halloween isn’t just a bunch of hocus pocus. It’s a month long celebration filled with tons of tricks, treats and spooky decorations. We love a good themed party and Halloween offers so many ways to be creative. Don’t be ashamed if you have an entire Pinterest board dedicated to the holiday. We are right there with you. So gather all your ghoulfriends and throw a killer party. First, pick your poison and make a tasty treat with some of our favorite (and super easy) Halloween recipes. So eat, drink and be scary my fellow mortals.

Apple Cider Moscow Mule


- 2 ounces ginger flavored vodka
- 2 ounces apple cider (store bought or homemade)
- Juice of 1 small lime wedge
- Good quality ginger beer to top off (about 1/2 cup or so)
- Cinnamon to sprinkle


    1.) In a copper mug, add the vodka, apple cider and lime juice.
    2.) Fill the glass with ice, sprinkle cinnamon over the ice, then top off with ginger beer.
    3.) Stir well and garnish with an apple slice and cinnamon stick.

       Spooky Chocolate Bark


      - 5 cups bittersweet chocolate chips
      - Candy eye balls
      - Kit Kat’s
      - Candy corn
      - Sprinkles
      - Pretzels


        1.) Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
        2.) Put the chocolate chips in a medium bowl and melt in the microwave, stirring occasionally until smooth.
        3.) Pour the melted chocolate onto the parchment paper and use a spatula to spread an even ¼ inch layer.
        4.) Place all the candy and sprinkles on the chocolate.
        5.) Put the baking sheet in the refrigerator to chill for 30-40 minutes until the chocolate is hard.
        6.) Break chocolate into serving sizes (1-3 inches) and enjoy!
